Sign up for lessons with our pro Conray de Cuba to learn the game or sharpen your skills. Also ask him about PICKLE BALL.

Welcome Back and Happy New Year!  Please Mark your calendar for these special events in January!

 Monday Jan. 1:  Happy New Year!  Golf Course opens at 10am.

Friday Jan 12:  Rookie League 9:30-10:30, Putting. 

Monday Jan. 15:  Fun Scramble 9:30 Shotgun.  Make your own foursome or we will pair you!

 Monday Jan. 15:  Sign up for the club championship begins.  All play will be on the following dates:   Thurs. Feb.22, Monday Feb. 26, Tue. Feb 27(rain date) and Finals March 1. 
Wednesday Jan.17:  Ladies Welcome Back, 9:30 shotgun and lunch. 

 Monday Jan. 22:  Short Game Difficult Lies Golf School 8-10am. This is an on the course school and you will learn the short game shots needed for your golf course!  Fee $60- Limit: 6 Students.
Tuesday Jan. 23:  Rules on the golf course, with wine!  3:30-4:15. Open to all.
Monday Jan 29:  Island Cup at Island Dunes 2:00 Shotgun.

 Thursday March 1:  Island Cup at the Ocean Club.  2:00 Shotgun with dinner following golf.
Start to get your team ready for a new event on Monday March 5.

The Crazy 8 Challenge:  8 players on a team.  One foursome will play 2 Best Balls of four in the morning.  The other foursome will play a Scramble in the afternoon.  The two scores will be added together and the 3 teams with the lowest scores will participate in a Shootout on the 9th hole!

New Pickleball Courts on Court #8

A number of IDCC homeowners have been playing pickleball in recent months and have noted a need for improved playing conditions on the two pickleball courts (#7 and #8) we do have, which are essentially pickleball court lines that were painted over tennis court lines. Some of the suggested improvements include: Painting over the tennis court lines so they're not confused with pickleball court lines during play Painting the entire pickleball court a noticeably different color to make the court dimensions easier to see  Move the location of the pickleball court nets so balls wouldn't require running all the way back to the tennis court fences for retrieval (which happens very often during regular play) Expand pickleball court capacity so more players could play at the same time and rotate players around  All of these suggestions have been considered and resulted in the following court improvements, reviewed and approved by the IDCC Board and Club Management with special
