IDCC Golf Course Renovation - Hole #8

Update to early golf course renovation to hole #8. To save money were able to renovate 8 green early because our architect is in the area and donated part of his time and equipment.

This redo will be competed by mid August and then we will have the grow in period for 60 days and reopen for play in October.

The pictures depict the initial removal of the affected soil and the build back of the green including drainage. 

This picture with the wall is the scheduled rebuilding of the 8th tee which was in the 2017 budget.

A number of IDCC homeowners have been playing pickleball in recent months and have noted a need for improved playing conditions on the two pickleball courts (#7 and #8) we do have, which are essentially pickleball court lines that were painted over tennis court lines. Some of the suggested improvements include: Painting over the tennis court lines so they're not confused with pickleball court lines during play Painting the entire pickleball court a noticeably different color to make the court dimensions easier to see  Move the location of the pickleball court nets so balls wouldn't require running all the way back to the tennis court fences for retrieval (which happens very often during regular play) Expand pickleball court capacity so more players could play at the same time and rotate players around  All of these suggestions have been considered and resulted in the following court improvements, reviewed and approved by the IDCC Board and Club Management with special
